Date Night: East Village

First off, a caveat: This date night is walkable, though heading to the last stop may be better done by ride share. Christine and I walked it, but not without some discomfort.

East Village may be a little rough around the edges, but boy does it charm.

This date night itinerary is booze-forward, so if you’re in the mood for a drink and some serious catch up time, this is for you.

The stops vary from distillery-cum al fresco cocktail lounge that may border on sports bar to a glitzy culinary experience, then wraps up with a mariner-themed speakeasy hand-built by the owner.

Head out with a good appetite and good company, and you won’t be disappointed.
